Registration for the UND softball program's Fall Elite Camp is now open. The camp will be held on Sept. 16, and will be limited to the first 72 registrants. Participants are encouraged to register early, as last year's camp sold out before the registration deadline.

The camp is open to all girls between the ages 13-18 years old. The camp will be held at the Hyslop Sports Center, the High Performance Center and the Apollo Sports Complex from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The morning session of the camp will allow participants to train with current UND softball players and coaches. After a lunch break following the morning session, participants will then play in two live games at the Apollo Sports Complex. Transportation to the Apollo Sports Complex, lunch and water will all be provided.

Participants will also be able to personalize their camp schedule, choosing three of nine classes: power pitching, spins pitching, short game offense, power hitting, strength and conditioning, middle infield, corner infield, outfield and catchers. Additionally, participants will be able chose between one of three classroom topics: nutrition and training, recruiting, and situational strategies and methods.

The cost of the Fall Elite Camp is $150, and includes a free UND softball Dri-Fit shirt. Children of UND employees are eligible for a 25-percent discount and any teams registering six or more players will receive a $20 discount per player.
