The Fighting Hawks host Colorado College in the only home series for North Dakota during the month of February.
UND entered the week tied with Minnesota Duluth for fourth place in the NCHC standings, three points behind third-place Western Michigan and three points up on sixth place Omaha. UND has two games in hand on all of those teams.
The Tigers are in seventh place but sit just four points out of the fourth and final spot for home ice in the NCHC Playoffs.
All UND men’s hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the UND Sports Home of Economy Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. The flaghsip station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox).
Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, in his 39th season as the voice of UND men’s hockey, calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.
This weekend’s series will be telecast live on Midco Sports Network. Alex Heinert handles the play-by-play and former UND goaltender Jake Brandt serves as color analyst. Katie Hale is the rinkside reporter. Saturday’s game can also be seen live on FOX College Sports Central.
Both games will also be streamed live via NCHC.tv.

The Tigers, like North Dakota, were idle last weekend. CC most recently picked up a win and a tie at home against Miami Jan. 26-27 and the Tigers’ 11 wins this season are the program’s most since 2012-13.
Sophomore F Nick Halloran, the reigning, two-time NCHC Player of the Month, is tied for the national scoring lead with 39 points in 26 games, including a NCHC-leading 23 assists.
He has been supported by junior F Mason Bergh, who has 15 goals and 19 assists in 26 games and leads the team with eight power-play goals.
Sophomore G Alex Leclerc has seen the bulk of the action in goal, starting all but one game and going 11-9-4 with a 3.18 goals against average and .903 save percentage.
