King's Walk Golf Course website
King's Walk Golf Course is the home to the University of North Dakota men's and women's golf teams. Owned and operated by the Grand Forks Park District, the course is one of the many jewels of Grand Forks.
King's Walk recreates the atmosphere found on the great links courses of Scotland and Ireland.
Starting with a completely flat site, over 650,000 cubic yards of earth
were excavated to allow the Arnold Palmer designed golf course to roll
and flow around hundreds of individual mounds, deep ravines, steep
ridges, and two large lakes. Large bent grass greens are well protected
and framed by beautifully sculpted bunkers, mounds, and collection
areas. Tall fescue grasses add to the links style and complete this
Arnold Palmer designed masterpiece.
Practice Facility
In addition to a spectacular golf course, King's Walk features the
premiere practice facility in the area. The driving range is double
sided with 2.2 acres of teeing area, insuring quality turf conditions
at all times. Five bent grass target greens will simulate all the shots
needed to take your game to the course.
King's Walk also offers an 8,000 sq. ft. putting green and a 6,000 sq.
ft. chipping green complete with a large bunker complex. If you're
warming up before your round, or just out to work on your game, you
won't be disappointed.
