The 2014-15 Cheer Team will consist of 15-20 co-ed team members. This team is responsible for covering all home Football, Volleyball and Basketball games. The Cheer Team has the opportunity to travel to conference and post-conference games.
The Cheer Team commitment is 2-4 days a week. All practices and assigned games assigned are mandatory. Games and events sometimes occur over winter and spring break. There are several fundraising events attended by the Cheer Team throughout the year to help support the program.
Anyone is welcome to attend or observe cheer team weekly practices at the Hyslop Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-9 pm during the fall and spring semesters.

The 2014-15 Dance Team will be a combined sideline and competition team consisting of 12-18 members. Dancers perform at all home football and home basketball games and compete at 4-6 competitions a season including UDA Nationals in Orlando, FL.
The Dance Team commitment is 3-5 days a week. All practices, assigned games, events and competitions are mandatory. There are several fundraising events throughout the year to provide support for travel representing the University of North Dakota. The Dance Team has practice and event commitments over semester break. Being on the UND Dance Team is a wonderful experience, but is a serious time commitment.

Hockey Cheer Team
The 2014-15 Hockey Cheer Team will consist of 12-16 members. The Hockey Cheer Team will perform and cheer at all men’s home hockey games, select away games, post-conference games and occasionally home women’s hockey games.
The Hockey Cheer Team is a 2-4 day a week commitment. All practices and assigned games are mandatory. Games often occur over Thanksgiving, semester and Spring break. The Hockey Cheer Team will sell 50/50 at all home football games and host youth camps to support the program costs throughout the year. In addition to strong off-ice cheerleading skills, strong skating skills are required to perform on-ice during hockey games.
