DULUTH, Minn. -- A pair of former North Dakota track and field and cross country standouts turned back the clock this morning at the 37th annual Grandma's Marathon.

Heidi (Evans) Greenwood ran a personal-record time of 1 hour, 18.25 seconds and placed 37th in the USA Half Marathon Championships.

A four-time All-American at UND and the 2008 Division II national champion in the 1,500-meters, Greenwood bested her previous PR by 2 minutes, 10 seconds, despite running with an injured hamstring.

Greenwood's former teammate, Margaret Landberg, placed second among 3,897 female runners in the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon with a time of 1:18.11.

Landberg competed at UND from 2003-07 and was the 2006 North Central Conference runner-up in the outdoor 5K.
