GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- University of North Dakota head baseball coach Jeff Dodson begins his sixth season at the helm at UND with the team's first official fall practice at Kraft Memorial Field Saturday. Dodson and his staff welcome back 27 athletes from last season and 34 total players on the 2014 roster.

Saturday's practice is the first leading up to the annual Blue Moose Classic, an intrasquad series that features a best-of-five format. The squad will be divvied up and will play against each other beginning Oct. 5 at Kraft Field.

September 14 is "Scout Day" at Kraft Field as UND welcomes MLB scouts to the park. Hall of Fame inductee Carter Rogalla will be honored that weekend, part of the HOF festivities on campus.
