GRAND FORKS, N.D.- The University of North Dakota baseball team once again helped spearhead a campaign to collect winter clothing for the Northlands Rescue Mission. Saturday, head coach Jeff Dodson and players helped deliver two truckloads of donations after collecting door-to-door and via a local drop-off site.

"It was very comparable to last year's effort," Dodson said as his team has gone door-to-door for the past three falls. "We collected two truckloads of some really nice stuff that hopefully helps out some people who are in need. We'd really like to thank Rydell Chevrolet for providing a drop spot and thank the people of Grand Forks and the surrounding area that contributed and helped out a good cause."

Players and coaches solicited donations all last week and last Saturday canvassed the greater Grand Forks area for donations to the clothing drive. The team then loaded trucks at Rydell Chevrolet with the donated materials.
