GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- The University of North Dakota is proud to announce that the UND baseball team has achieved a combined 3.012 grade point average for the fall 2012 semester. That total includes three student-athletes with perfect 4.0 semester grade point averages.

"I'm very proud of the effort our guys put in the classroom and it's reflected in their grades," UND head coach Jeff Dodson said. "That's a big step for our program."

The team produced 18 grade point averages above a 3.0 with eight of those achieving 3.50 or better. The baseball competition season is just six weeks away and the full 2013 slate will be announced soon.
