2010: Started 21 games and appeared in 31 as he worked through some injuries during his junior season … Saw most of his action as a designated hitter (13 starts) … Finished the season with a career-high batting average (.333), going 26-for-78 with four doubles and five RBI … Made five starts at third base for the first time in his career and also made two starts at catcher and one in right field … Posted seven multiple-hit games and matched his career-high with four hits and four runs in a 20-19 victory over New York Tech (G2, April 24) … Drove in a pair of runs with a double at Southeast Missouri State (March 14) ... Earned third letter.

 

2009: Made 29 of his 33 starts at catcher and appeared in 35 games overall … Earned a spot on the Independent All-Academic Team … Also made two starts apiece in left and right field … Batted .273 and set career highs in home runs (two), RBI (16), hits (35) and runs (32) … His 32 runs were second on the team … Had the first of two four-hit games during the season at Southern Illinois (March 13) … Posted a career-high four RBI in a 3-for-4 effort at Saint Louis (March 18) … Also launched his first career home run after squaring around to bunt on the pitch against the Billikens … Named the Great West Player of the Week for his efforts against Saint Louis and in the first Division I series win at Southern Illinois … In those five games, went 6-for-12 with a pair of doubles, two RBI and five runs scored … Plated a career-high three runs on five different occasions during the season … Also had four hits in a 12-5 win at South Dakota State when he added his second homer and scored three runs ... Earned second letter.

 

2008: Made all 33 of his starts in the outfield with 23 coming in right field and 10 in center field ... Batted .242 with four doubles, 11 runs scored and 13 RBI ... Led the squad with five sacrifice flies ... Earned first letter.

 

Before UND: A 2007 graduate of Red River High School in Grand Forks, N.D. ...  Earned four letters in baseball and basketball ... Two-time Eastern Dakota Conference All-Conference honoree and two-time all-state honoree in baseball ... Was named captain in baseball and basketball during his senior season ... Was named the Eastern Dakota Conference Player of the Year during his senior campaign ... Batted .387 with 13 doubles, four triples, 30 RBIs, 54 runs and 28 stolen bases during senior season ... A member of the National Honor Society.
