UND snaps losing streak with win over St. Cloud

St. Cloud, Minn. - The University of North Dakota women's tennis team ended its losing streak with a 9-0 win over St. Cloud State on Saturday at the Fitness Evolution Tennis Center.

North Dakota began the day by sweeping the doubles competition and jumping out to an early 3-0 lead.

UND was just as dominate in the single competition by winning all six competitions. Seniors Megan Sween (Grand Forks, N.D.) and Mindy Lawrence (Park Rapids, Minn.), juniors Stephanie Biehn (Sherburn, Minn.), Stephanie Petsis (Toronto, Ontario), and Sarah Stejskal (Grand Rapids, Minn) and sophomore Callie Ronkowski (Grand Forks, N.D.) all earned victories for North Dakota.

UND will look to build off this win Saturday evening against South Dakota in St. Cloud, Minn.
