North Dakota tennis falls to Sacramento State

Sacramento, Calif. - The University of North Dakota women’s tennis team was shutout on Sunday by Sacramento State 7-0 in Big Sky Conference play at the Rio Del Oro Racquet Club.

Sacramento State earned the first point of the game. The Hornets won each of the three doubles matches against UND for the doubles point.

In singles action, Sacramento State went on to sweep North Dakota in the six singles matches.

In No. 3 singles, the match between junior Stephanie Biehn (Sherburn, Minn.) and Olivia Boija went to three sets. Biehn won the first set with a score of 6-3. Boija came back to win the final two sets 6-1 and 10-6 to earn the point.

UND returns home to take on conference opponent Southern Utah at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6 at the Choice Health and Fitness Center.
