GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota women’s tennis team extended its win streak to three matches on Friday afternoon with a 7-0 victory over Idaho State at Choice Health and Fitness Center.

UND earned the doubles point to start the match, winning two of the three doubles competitions. The duo of junior Callie Ronkowski (Grand Forks, N.D.) and freshman Faith Lee (Andover, Minn.) defeated the Bengals Svenja Tegtmeier and Wiebke Boeckmann by a score of 8-6 in No. 2 doubles.

In No. 3 doubles, freshmen Lacey Sprinkel (Minneapolis, Minn.) and Mikaela Bennett (Calgary, Alberta) earned an 8-4 victory over Kasey Bacon and Madelyn Weltzin.

North Dakota continued its success in singles play, winning each of the six matches.

UND will hope to continue its win streak on Saturday, February 22nd when it plays Nebraska Omaha at 3:00 p.m. at Choice Health and Fitness Center in Grand Forks.
