Cedar Falls, Iowa – The University of North Dakota women’s tennis team earned its first victory of the season on Saturday, Feb. 8. defeating Western Illinois University by a score of 7-0 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

North Dakota began the match by earning the doubles point, winning each of the doubles matches.

UND continued to have success in singles action, defeating Western Illinois in the six singles matches.

The win wraps up five road matches for UND as they return to Grand Forks to open Big Sky Conference play against Weber State on Feb. 14 at Choice Health and Fitness.
