2011-12 (Sophomore): Won the discus at the 2012 Great West Conference Outdoor Championship with a throw of 49.00 meters (160 feet, 9 inches) ... Placed eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.48 meters (162-04) ... Placed fourth in the weight throw at the GWC Indoor Championship with a mark of 16.47 meters (54 1/2) ... Established a personal record of 52.33 meters (171-8) in the hammer throw at the Cobber Twilight .. Named GWC Athlete of the Week (April 12) for his career performance at the USD/SDSU Double Dual ... Recorded a discus throw of 176 feet, 10 inches at the USD/SDSU double dual that was seven feet longer than any other in the GWC all season ... The throw also eclipsed his PR by more than 20 feet and would have put him in position to qualify for the NCAA Championship if UND was eligible ... Also won the hammer throw (169 feet) at the USD/SDSU double dual ... Won the discus at NDSU's Lyle Hokanson Open with a mark of 46.26 meters (151 feet, 9 inches) ...  Named to Athletics Director's Fall Honor Roll ... Earned second letter.
