AZUSA, Calif. -- With split squads competing at four different meets this weekend, North Dakota sent a pair of runners to the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational.

Both Sioux runners made their appearances count.

Junior Kirsten Haas ran the second-best 400-meter hurdles in the Great West Conference this season, finishing with a time of 1 minute, 1.71 seconds. She placed sixth among 36 competitors in the event.

Freshman Jessica Lindsay (Grand Forks, N.D.), ran a time of 2:15.52 in the 800-meters, good for a 14th-place showing among 63 runners. It was also the fifth-best time in the Great West Conference this season.
