AZUSA, Calif. -- With split squads competing at four different meets this weekend, North Dakota sent a pair of runners to the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational.
Both Sioux runners made their appearances count.
Junior Kirsten Haas ran the second-best 400-meter hurdles in the Great West Conference this season, finishing with a time of 1 minute, 1.71 seconds. She placed sixth among 36 competitors in the event.
Freshman Jessica Lindsay (Grand Forks, N.D.), ran a time of 2:15.52 in the 800-meters, good for a 14th-place showing among 63 runners. It was also the fifth-best time in the Great West Conference this season.
UND also sent split squads to the Mt. SAC Relays (Walnut, Calif.), the Long Beach State Invitational and the Carleton Relays (Northfield, Minn.).
