GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The three-time defending Great West Conference Tournament champion North Dakota Fighting Sioux volleyball team will kick off the spring season this Saturday as it travels to Brookings, S.D., for the 2012 South Dakota State Spring Tournament. Hosted by the Jacks, the tournament will feature North Dakota, Northern State, South Dakota, IA Lakes, Mankato, and Moorhead.

UND will open play at 9 a.m. against Mankato and will follow with an 11 a.m. match against Moorhead. In the second session, the Sioux will face former North Central Conference rivals USD (2 p.m.) and SDSU (3 p.m.).
