OGDEN, Utah-- Senior Ronni Munkeby was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive time following her performance last week in leading UND to a 4-0 mark in league play.

Munkeby followed up her first weekly honor with a career-high tying 19 kills on just 34 swings with four errors (.441) as North Dakota ousted Idaho State, 3-1 ,on Saturday. She added five total blocks as UND won its seventh match in its last eight outings.

On Thursday, Munkeby tallied 10 kills on 19 attempts and added a service ace and three total blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Weber State. For the week, Munkeby totaled 29 kills (4.14/set) while hitting .415.

She is the first UND player to win multiple Big Sky Player of the Week accolades.

North Dakota hosts in-state rival North Dakota State Monday before returning to conference play Saturday at Sacramento State.
