2011-12 (Sophomore): WCHA Rookie of the Year ... All-WCHA third team and all-WCHA rookie team ... All-USCHO rookie team forward ... Four-time WCHA Rookie of the Week (Oct. 19, Oct. 26, Nov. 9 and Feb. 8) ... Tied for the lead with two preseason WCHA Rookie of the Year votes ... Ranked tied for eighth in the nation in points (61), 20th in goals (24) and 10th in assists (37) ... Led the nation in points by a rookie ... Played in 36 games ... Had seven power-play goals, one shorthanded goal, three game-winning and two game-tying goals ... Tallied two hat tricks  and two unassisted goals ... Had a +23 plus/minus rating including one +5 game and 132 shots on goal for third on the team ... Has 27 penalties for 65 minutes averaging 3.67 shots per game, 0.67 goals per game, 1.03 assists per game and 1.69 points per game ... Earned her first letter ... Before UND: Competed in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics with Finland ... In five games played tallied three points from one goal and two assists ... Was one of three players on the team with a positive plus/minus (+1) ... Was tied for second on the team with 13 shots ... In first Olympic game had two assists against Russia (2/14/10) ... Scored lone goal in bronze-medal game against Sweden (2/25/10) ... Was the only European chosen for the All-Star team at the World Championship in 2009 where she finished the tournament with a team-leading five goals and seven points ... Has two gold medals in Finnish Championships with Espoo ... Was top point scorer in the Finnish women's league  and scored nearly 1.5 points per game (seven goals, nine assist in11 games)  in the Danish under-20 boys league.

Personal: Majoring in graphic design and technology ... Daughter of Heikki Karvinen and Hanne Olson ... Is a dual citizen of both Denmark and Finland ... Father played professionally in Sweden and Denmark ... Brother, Jannik, plays for Denmark's Rodovre Might Bulls (2007-present).
