GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Senior Troy Huff earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors on Tuesday after averaging 34.5 ppg, 9.5 rpg and 3.0 spg in a two-game split with No. 12/15 Wisconsin and North Dakota State.

Huff opened the week with a career-high 37 points in his home state as North Dakota lost 103-85 to No. 12 Wisconsin. He made 15-of-22 shots from the field, was 4-of-6 from 3-point range and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. Huff also added nine rebounds and three steals against the Badgers.

The Milwaukee native capped his week by scoring 32 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and adding three more steals in the 95-77 win over the Bison on Sunday in Grand Forks. Huff, a First Team All-Conference selection last season, made 8-of-12 shots from the floor, 3-of-6 from 3-point range and 13-of-17 from the free-throw line in a contest that UND never trailed in.

He is just the ninth player in school history to post back-to-back 30-point games

In the two games, he shot 67.6 percent from the field, 58.3 percent from 3-point range and 76.2 percent from the free-throw line. Huff shared the lead in Big Sky Player of the Week honors with three last season as a junior.
