2005-06 (Sophomore): Named to Academic All-NCC team and NCC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll • Appeared in 27 games, including 15 starts • Averaged 7.2 points per game and ranked third on the team with 4.1 rebounds per game • Averaged 9.3 points per game in NCC play compared to 5.5 ppg in non-conference games • Twice led the team in scoring, including a career-high 19 points at Colorado School of Mines (Dec. 30) • Scored 15 points and dished out a career-high six assists in UND’s playoff loss at South Dakota (March 1) • Reached double figures in scoring eight times • Enjoyed his first career double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds at Nebraska-Omaha (Jan. 12) • Led the Sioux in rebounding seven times • Earned second letter.
2004-05 (Freshman): Played in 10 games as a freshman • Averaged 1.5 points per game • Averaged three minutes of playing time per game • Made his collegiate debut Nov. 13 vs. Henderson State and scored two points and one rebound in two minutes • Received a career-high 10 minutes of playing time against SUNY-New Paltz (Dec. 31) and responded with a career-high six points • Hit five of his eight field goals (62.5) on the season • Earned first letter.

High School: A 2003 graduate of West Fargo High School • Lettered four times in baseball and three times each in soccer and basketball • Named All-State Second Team as a senior and All-Eastern Dakota Conference twice in basketball • Averaged 17.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a senior.
Personal: Majoring in management • Son of Bob and Sandy Hoy • Younger sister, Kristin, is a sophomore on the Fighting Sioux volleyball team.
