OGDEN, Utah-- University of North Dakota junior forward Madi Buck was named to the All-Big Sky Conference's honorable mention team announced Monday by league officials. Buck led UND in scoring (10.7 ppg) and rebounding (7.7 rpg) this season.

Buck led UND in scoring on nine different occasions this season including a 62-56 win at the University of Utah, one of the signature wins on North Dakota's schedule this season. In that game, the Bismarck, N.D. native scored 18 and had six rebounds and five blocks as UND earned the school's first win over a team from a power- six conference (Pac 12) and earned Big Sky Conference Player of the Week in the process.

Buck also poured-in a season-high 21 points and added 13 rebounds and five assists in a 73-63 win at arch-rival North Dakota State Nov. 30. It was the first of seven double-double performances for Buck.

In Saturday's season finale, Buck scored just six points but tallied a season-high 15 boards as North Dakota rallied back from 21 down to force double overtime at Southern Utah. Buck goes into her senior season with 714 points and 521 rebounds in a North Dakota uniform.

The league MVP was awarded to Montana's Katie Baker, one of two Grizzlies on the first team. Nine of the 11 honorees on the first and second teams are seniors. Montana will play host to the Big Sky Conference Championships beginning with the quarterfinal round on Wednesday.
