GRAND FORKS, N.D.-- University of North Dakota Head Women's Basketball Coach Travis Brewster announced Monday that Madison Kramer will join his team next season. Kramer, a 6-foot guard from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, just finished her prep career as the team's leader in assists, helping her squad to the state tournament.

"Madison is a strong player that wants to be at UND," Brewster said. "She visited the campus and really enjoyed her time with our players.  She is not afraid of hard work and comes from a solid high school program coached by Frank Howell."

Kramer averaged 6.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game as Cedar Rapids Washington advanced to the state tournament, compiling a 17-7 record. Her 81 assists led the team this past season. She earned All-Mississippi Valley honorable mention (Metro only) accolades as a senior.
