GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota placed 42 student-athletes on the 2012-13 Big Sky Conference Winter All-Academic Team that recognizes student-athletes in the sports of men’s and women’s basketball and men’s and women’s indoor track and field. The team was announced today by the conference office.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) Participated in at least half of the team’s competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.

UND’s 42 honorees (listed below) included 23 from women’s indoor track and field, 13 from men’s indoor track and field, and six from women’s basketball.
