GRAND FORKS, N.D.- Second-year head coach Travis Brewster will take his team on a five-day excursion to Toronto, Ont., Canada for three exhibition games from Aug. 17-22. In preparation for this rare opportunity to travel internationally, his team began practicing Wednesday, welcoming back 11 student-athletes from last season's roster to mesh with a host of newcomers primed to contribute right away.

Wednesday's first practices were held at the Hyslop Sports Center, the former home of the UND basketball teams. A morning session was held in the multi-purpose gym near the pool and another afternoon session was held in the gym upstairs.

On its trip, the team will play three games in three nights, all exhibitions against local teams. Sunday will see UND play a Toronto "Dream Team" of all-star calibur players in Scarborough, Ont. The following night, North Dakota will battle host Ryerson University under FIBA rules. UND will finish with another tilt against all-stars, playing a squad known as "A Game" at Seneca College in North York, Ont.

The games against the all-star teams will be under NCAA rules, including the new additions with the 10-second backcourt, among other rule changes for the upcoming season.

More information and a complete UND roster traveling to Toronto will be available soon. UNDSports.com will provide coverage of the games through chats, social media updates and video interviews.
