GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Following a win and a tie against Vermont to open the regular season, the University of North Dakota is ranked sixth in the latest USCHO poll and seventh in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, both of which were released earlier today.

UND climbed one spot in the USCHO rankings but dropped one spot in the USA Today poll.

Miami, which will host UND next weekend to open National Collegiate Hockey Conference play, overtook the top spot in both polls.

Wisconsin, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Michigan rounded out the top five after Miami in both polls.
