GRAND FORKS, N.D. – With the 2014 football season opener just over a week away, University of North Dakota fans will have the opportunity to meet this year’s team and first-year head coach Bubba Schweigert on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Third annual UND Football Fan Fest presented by Midco Sports Network.

The event, which is free to the public, takes place from 7 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Stadium on the UND campus (2nd Ave. N & Columbia Road). Free pizza and drinks will be available to approximately the first 500 fans through the gates courtesy of Midco SN. In addition, fans can pick up a “North Dakota Proud” yard sign and kids can register for the Jr. Champions.

Fans may park free of charge in the lots directly west and north of Memorial Stadium.

UND Football opens the season on the road just one week after the event on Thursday, Aug. 28 at San Jose State (9 p.m. CT) in a game that will air live nationally on ESPN3.com.
