Nichole Tiggs is in her second season as an assistant coach for the Fighting Sioux, bringing a significant playing and coaching experience.
Tiggs completed her master’s degree from UND in Aug. 2008 and was a four-year starter at Indiana State University from 2002 to 2006.
At ISU she won numerous Missouri Valley Conference honors, along with becoming the Sycamores all-time point scorer and all-time goal scorer. She also holds the record for shots in a single season.
A native of Chandler, Ariz., Tiggs was a four-year letterwinner and captain of Corona del Sol High School, where, she lead the team to four Region V Conference championships as the team’s leading scorer in as many years. She was also part of the U-19 Arizona State Cup Champions with the Sereno Soccer Club and U-18 runner-up with SC del Sol.
Since coming to Grand Forks, Tiggs has coached at Central High School and East Grand Forks High Schools along with the Greater Grand Forks Soccer Club.
