MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Individual performances by senior Sam Saccoman and sophomore D'Monte Farley highlighted North Dakota’s second day of competition at the Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational.

Saccoman boasted UND’s top finish of the day, placing third in the 5K run with a time of 15 minutes, 6.97 seconds.

Farley qualified for Saturday’s 100-meter dash finals, clocking a UND-season-best time of 11.05 seconds in the preliminaries.

Also of note, sophomore Keaton Hanevold placed eighth in the javelin with a throw of 192 feet.

The third and final day of competition takes place Saturday at Dough Shaw Stadium.

Dehne ties for second at Coyote Classic
