KISSIMEE, FLORIDA --- The University of North Dakota softball team falls to both Eastern Illinois and Robert Morris on the fourth day of The Rebel Games.

 

UND 0, Eastern Illinois 7

North Dakota shut out 0-7 by Easter Illinois on the fourth day of The Rebel Games. 

Eastern Illinois took an early lead in the third inning after scoring three runs and UND just could not stop them.

The Panthers scored two runs in the fourth and scored a run in both the fifth and seventh inning.

UND tried, but was unable to catch up – resulting in a 0-7 game.

 

UND 4, Robert Morris 2

The University of North Dakota was defeated 4-2 by Robert Morris in the second game of the day.

Robert Morris got the bats going scoring a run in the second, third, and fourth innings.

UND answered back in the fifth when Junior Caralyn Chewning (Willamina, Ore.) was walked and senior Brittany Baker (Buena Park, Calif.) hit a home run to left center field scoring two runs, making it a 3-2 game.

Robert Morris extended their lead to two in the bottom of the fifth, and UND was unable to come back losing 4-2.

UND falls to 2-6 in series.

North Dakota will face Rider University and Lehigh on Friday.
