OMAHA, Neb. - The UND softball team's doubleheader with Nebraska Omaha on Monday has been canceled. The real feel temperature did not reach the necessary 32 degrees for the game to be played and parts of the field were still frozen as of Monday afternoon.

The doubleheader was initially set for 1 p.m. but was pushed back an hour three times to try and allow the field to dry and the temperature to warm up. But a decision was made at 1:45 p.m. that the non-conference series would be canceled.

UND was already in Omaha after playing at Northern Colorado over the weekend. UND will now travel to Vermillion, S.D., to play South Dakota twice tomorrow before playing South Dakota State in a doubleheader on Wednesday. The UND-UNO series will not be made up.
