Middle Tennessee State Invitational
Fri.-Sat., Sep 6-7

North Dakota sets out on its first road trip of the season and will be away from home for its next 10 straight matches beginning with a four-match weekend at the Middle Tennessee State University Invitational Friday and Saturday.

The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center played host to the third annual UND Classic with a very formidable field. No. 15 Iowa State took the team title with three wins, but UND made Texas A&M sweat it out in what turned out to be the second-place match in the finale. The Aggies pulled out a close win in the opening set but UND tied the match in the second set and had the perennial power in the SEC back on its heels before A&M finally pulled out a 3-1 win. Senior Lisa Parlich was named to the all-tournament team.
