PRIMM, Nev. -- Senior Tyler Monda shot the fifth-best score in the field during today's final round, surging to an 11th-place tie at South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational at the Primm Valley Golf Course.
Monda carded a 1-under 71 today, a score topped by only four other competitors. The Brainerd, Minn., native tied for 11th place with an even-par 216 at the 3-round event.
The Sioux placed 13th in the team standings.
Idaho won the tournament with an 849, good for a four-stroke victory over Missouri-Kansas City.
UMKC's Korbin Kuehn captured medalist honors with a 205.
