MACOMB, Ill. -- Junior Alex Robb shot a 1-over-par 73 during today's final round of the Beu Mussatto Invitational, securing an eighth-place tie in a field of 87 golfers.

Robb finished the touranment, which was hosted by Western Illinois, with a team-leading 220 (305-302-304) that was just eight strokes off the lead.

Indiana's Michael McGee took medalist honors with a 212 (74-71-67), while Indian Hills Community College finished in first place with an 873 (302-292-279).

The Sioux placed sixth among 12 teams, shooting a collective 911 (305-302-304).

Robb was one of three Sioux to crack 80 during today's third and final round. Freshman Samuel Matthew carded a 75 today and finsihed tied for 24th with a 227 (76-76-75). Teammate Tyler Monda shot a final-round 79 and tied for 47th with a 235 (80-76-79).
