The Fighting Sioux shot a final-round 329 to surge from 11th to eighth in the final team standings. UND finished with a 964 (320-315-329) at the Lake of Isles Golf Course.
Matthew, a freshman from Roseville, Minn., carded a 78 today to finish with a 230 (76-76-78) and tie for 10th place, which landed him on the all-conference second team.
Sacramento State, behind medalist Cameron Rappleye, led from start to finish and won the conference tournament with an 878 (290-286-302). Rappleye shot a 214 (71-71-72) to edge teammate Jordan Weir on the individual leaderboard.
