Woodforest, Texas - Senior Sean Halverson posted the lowest score of his collegiate career in the opening round of the Husky Invite on Monday. Halverson fired a one-under par 70 to pace UND in the first of two rounds played in the Lone Star State.

Halverson backed up his 70 with a 76 in round two to lead the Green and White with a 146 (+4). Freshman Daniel Slayer improved eight strokes on his second-round score to lead UND in round two with a 74 (+3).

Slayer sits at a 156 (+14) total, while junior Collin Lervick is two shots off that pace at 158 (+16). Lervick, who led the team last weekend, went 76-82 in his opening 36 holes.

Louisiana-Monroe (555; -13) leads the 13-team field at posting scores of 286 (+2) and 269 (-15) on the opening day. ULM leads Arkansas-Little Rock (559; -9) by four strokes and host Houston Baptist (563; -5) by eight strokes.

The 54-hole event will conclude on Tuesday with the third and final round.
