Men's runners falls to NDSU at Ron Pynn Invite

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Paced by individual medalist Brett Kelly, North Dakota State defeated host North Dakota today at UND’s annual Ron Pynn Invitational at Ray Richards Golf Course.

Kelly, a junior, led all runners with an 8K time of 24 minutes, 54.6 seconds, as the Bison placed the top six runners in the race.

North Dakota was led by the duo of Nate Peterson and Sam Saccoman, who placed sixth and seventh, respectively. Peterson, a junior from Horace, N.D., had a time of 25:39.5. Saccoman, a senior from Hibbing, Minn., crossed the line in 25:44.0.

UND is now off for a week in preparation for the Big Sky Conference Championship slated for No. 2 in Bozeman, Mont.
