Cross country and track reunion set for Homecoming

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The annual Ron Pynn Invitational and an alumni reunion will highlight Homecoming Saturday on Oct. 13 for the University of North Dakota's cross country and track and field programs.

The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a presentation on the UND Athletics Complex, where UND's track and cross country alumni can view plans and learn more about UND's future indoor training and competition facility. The presentation, hosted by Steve Burian and Charlie Vein, will be held at AE2S, located at 4050 Garden View Drive near the Southwest corner of Ray Richards Golf Course.

The Ron Pynn Invitational, hosted by UND, will take place at the Ray Richards Golf Course in Grand Forks, with the women's 5K race at 1:45 p.m. and the men's 8K race following at 2:30. Teams competing will include UND, North Dakota State, Mary, Minot State and Manitoba. Each race will also include a team of UND alumni, as well as University of Manitoba alumni.

Following the Ron Pynn Invitational, UND cross country and track and field alumni are invited to a reunion social at Al's Grill and Catering on Gateway Drive from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
