UND opens its home regular season schedule with a visit from rival South Dakota. North Dakota and South Dakota are both former members of the NCAA Division II North Central Conference.
*UND is 31-7 in home openers
*UND plays three of its former NCC foes this season (South Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado)
*North Dakota, following Sunday’s game, will play just one game over the next 16 days (Nov 26 vs. Jamestown).

at No. 20 Iowa State 84, UND 55
Host 20th-ranked Iowa State used a pair of runs to distance itself and defeat North Dakota, 84-55 Sunday afternoon at the Hilton Center. UND led 13-12 midway through the first half, but ISU answered with a 13-2 run then later outscored UND, 20-3, spanning the end of the first half and into the opening minutes of the second frame. Madi Buck made her first five shots from the floor en route to 16 points. Megan Lauck added 13 while Mia Loyd contributed eight points and 10 rebounds.
at Northern Iowa 61, UND 56
Host Northern Iowa hung on for a 61-56 non-conference win over North Dakota Tuesday night at the McLeod Center. UND led by nine at the half, but a six-minute-plus scoring drought early in the second half helped the Panthers rally. Mia Loyd tallied a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds while Allyssa Wall added nine points and 10 boards and Buck scored nine with nine rebounds as well.
North Dakota enterains Jamestown on Nov. 26 before a two games on the road against Milwaukee (Dec. 4) and Minnesota (Dec. 8).

THREE TO 1,000?
Coming into the season, seniors Allyssa Wall (734), Madi Buck (714) and Megan Lauck (692) all have a shot at surpassing the 1,000-point plateau this season and would look to become just the third UND trio of teammates to be in four figures in the same season.
