HOUSTON, Texas-- Rachael Waldbillig finished up her first NCAA Zone D diving experience with the 1-meter event Tuesday. A day after taking 44th from the 3-meter board, Waldbillig took 39th from the short board.

Waldbilling scored 222.75 in the preliminary round of the competition. The top 18 advanced to the finals where Missouri's Lauren Figueroa won it with her 623.35 combined score (prelims and finals).

NCAA Zone D includes 12 Midwest states including: Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. There are five zones and an allocated number of divers-- based on last year's performance of each particular zone-- will advance to the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. later this month.

UND's Richard Eberle will compete in the men's 3-meter event later Tuesday evening.
