HOUSTON, Texas-- Richard Eberle finished off a very successful NCAA Zone D meet with his second trip to the finals in his Wednesday showing in the men's platform event. A day after advancing to the finals in the 3-meter to finish 13th, Eberle took 12th from the tower.
"Rick made the finals which is very good for us not having a platform (at Hyslop pool)," UND diving coach Brian Strom said. "It was a good finish for the year and a great start for next year."
Eberle scored 259.35 in the preliminary round to advance to the finals. There, he scored a 510.80 (combined with prelims) to take 12th place. Southern Methodist's Devin Burnett won the event with a 754.90 score.
