GRAND FORKS, N.D. - University of North Dakota Director of Athletics Brian Faison announced today that head men's and women's swimming coach Steve Parsons will not have his contract renewed for the 2013-14 season.

"I want to thank Coach Parsons for his work with the swimming program and wish him well in his future endeavors," said Faison.

Parsons recently completed his fourth season as head coach at UND after being appointed on May 6, 2009.

A national search for a replacement will begin immediately, according to Faison.
