DENVER —  North Dakota's Rick Eberle has been named the Western Athletic Conference Men's Diver of the Week for October 14-20, announced Tuesday by league officials. It is his second consecutive weekly conference honor.

Eberle, a senior from Fort Collins, Colo. (Colorado State), won both the 1-meter and 3-meter events in a dual meet at South Dakota on Friday.  Eberle scored 291.80 on the 1-meter and 294.55 on the 3-meter to help North Dakota to a 172-125 win over South Dakota.  He is undefeated in the early season, winning all four events in which he has competed.

Idaho’s Rachel Millet and Paige Hunt have were the WAC Women’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, while Grand Canyon’s Illya Glazunov was the Men's Swimmer of the Week.

The UND men prepare for Minnesota in its next home meet, Sat., Nov. 9 at the Hyslop Pool. Diving will start at 11:00 a.m. with the meet set to begin at noon.
