This is the first installment in what will be a series of photo galleries documenting the construction and implementation of AstroTurf's Magic Carpet II Conversion System for the new infill turf at the Alerus Center.

The turf itself will be AstroTurf's GameDay Grass 3D60H that has also been recently installed at Kansas State's Bill Snyder Family Stadium and Tennessee's Indoor Football Facility.

Construction crews removed the old AstroTurf from the building in late May and began working immediately on the pit that will house the state-of-the-art conversion system.
