With inclement weather wreaking havoc on the original spring practice schedule, the team had to conduct a rare Tuesday practice. And, with a lot of players having classes on Tuesday afternoon and evening, the session could not begin until 8 p.m.
The late start did not deter the team from having one of the more upbeat practices of the spring and being inside the home of UND Football did not hurt either.
Notebook
- After seven practices outside at Memorial Stadium, the football team worked indoors at the Alerus Center for the first time. The team will remain inside for the next three practices leading up to the Spring Game on Saturday (2 p.m.).
- The assistant coaches conducted the third annual Divide and Conquer draft on Tuesday morning and the rosters for the Spring Game are available here.
- Junior running back Jer Garman returned to the practice field after missing the last handful of sessions with a minor hamstring issue.
- Two redshirt freshmen that stood out in practice tonight were cornerback Dan Konowalkski and tight end Luke Mathewson. Konowalkski made a number of nice plays during both team drills and skelly work, while Mathewson made some nice grabs throughout the session as well.
