SUGAR LAND, Texas -- The Fighting Sioux women's golf team wrapped up competition today at the Houston Baptist Husky Invitational, placing 11th.

Lamar won the three-round tournament with a 910, defeating runner-up Sam Houston State by nine strokes. Sam Houston's Shelby Hardy earned medalist honors with a 222 (78-70-74).

UND finished with a team score of 997. Junior Chivas Beaudoin was the team's top finisher with a 243 (78-83-82) and led the Sioux with a final-round 82.

The Sioux will return to action April 16-17 at the Creighton Classic, UND's final action before the Great West Conference Championship April 23-25 in Highland Utah.
