LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The North Dakota women’s golf team finished up play at the Bison Invitational in Las Vegas on Friday, remaining in 12th place in the team standings with a two-day total of 666 (+ 90). Senior Robin Hutchinson carded the low round of the day for UND with a 82 (+10), while classmate Megan Grozdanich was the top finisher for the team in the 36-hole event.

Grozdanich paired an 84 (+12) on Friday to go with her collegiate low-round of 79 (+7) on Thursday to finish in a tie for 44th (163, +19). Hutchinson finished in tie for 49th after following an 83 with the 82 in the final round.

Sophomore Amanda Fairweather went 83-84 (167, +23) in her two rounds to place 56th.

Nova Southeastern  (586, +10) won the team title backing a 296 with a tournament best 290 (+2) on the final day to win by 15 strokes. Old Dominion (601, +25) took second, while fellow Big Sky foe Southern Utah finished third (615, +39).

Freshman Abbie Mozzetti went 85-86 (+27) in her two rounds to tie for 61st.

UND returns to action in the Lone Star State on April 1-2 for the Husky Invitational in Houston.
