Daytona Beach, Fla. - The North Dakota women's golf team wrapped up round one play on Saturday at the LPGA Xavier International. Sophomore Sadie Martin was the top UND golfer with an 84 (+12) as the 54-hole tournament got underway.

Martin's 84 was the best on the day that saw UND struggle to get on track. The team ended up with a 356 as fellow transfer Emma Kishel was the only other Green and White golfer to break 90. Daytona State College leads the 18-team field after firing a 300 (+12) on the opening day.

UND returns to the course on Sunday for the second round of the tournament being played at the home of the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
