Daytona Beach, Fla. - Round two was a better overall effort for the University of North Dakota women's golf team on Monday as the squad improved its score by 16 strokes from the opening one at the LPGA Xavier International.

Sophomore Sadie Martin continued to pace UND as she posted a 79 (+7) and was five shots better than her opening round. Freshman Dani DelGreco showed the best improvement for a Green and White golfer on day two, carding an 81, which was 10 shots better than her first 18 holes.

DelGreco and sophomore Emma Kishel are both at 172 after the first 36 holes, while Martin is at 163. Kishel posted her second consecutive score of 86 on the course at the home of the Ladies Professional Golf Association.

Morehead State registered the top score of the day with a 294 (+6) and moved past Daytona State College into first place in the team standings. Morehead State holds a five shot lead on the local squad from the eastern coast of Florida.

UND finishes its fall season on Monday with final-round play at the 54-hole event..
