St. George, Utah -- Freshman Alexis Guggisberg was the top finisher for the North Dakota women's golf team at the inaugural Southern Utah Invitational. Guggisberg had the low round of the day for the Green and White with a 81 (+9) and tied for 33rd with a two-day total of 183 (+19) on the par-72 layout at the Sunbrook Golf Club.

Sophomore Sadie Martin backed up her opening round 81 (+9) with an 83 (+11) in round two to tie for 39th. Freshman Dani DelGreco went 86-87 over the 36 holes and tied for 62nd.

Weber State was in sixth place after round one, trailing Oral Roberts by nine, but the Wildcats carded a 301 (+13) to erased that deficit to tie the Golden Flashes for the team title. Fellow Big Sky member and tournament host Southern Utah took third (617, +41) two strokes behind that duo.

UND wound up in 11th after a round-two score of 341 (+53) and will remain out West, returning to action on Monday in Primm, Nev., at the Jackrabbit Invitational hosted by South Dakota State.
