Max Markowitz enters his second season with the University of North Dakota women's hockey team.

He is currently pursuing his master's degree in sport psychology after receiving his bachelor's degree in physical education, exercise science and wellness.

Markowitz played youth hockey in the Detroit metro area for various Midwest Elite Hockey League teams.
